Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 November 2026 · Placeholders marked [ … ] must be filled in and reviewed before this page is treated as final.
1. Provider & scope
These terms govern use of the European Inference inference API and customer portal provided by [ legal entity name, address ] ("we"). By creating an account or using an API key you accept them. Individual plans may add specific conditions; where they conflict, the plan prevails for that plan.
2. Accounts, approval & API keys
- Registration requires a verified e-mail address (by confirmation link or a social sign-in provider) and an operator approval before API keys can be created.
- You must keep API keys secret. Anything done with a key is attributed to its owner; treat a suspected leak like a password compromise — revoke and recreate it in the portal immediately.
- One natural person or legal entity per account; accounts may not be shared beyond the account holder's own organisation.
3. Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you transmit and generate. Prohibited: illegal content, malware, spam at scale, attempts to break the service's security or rate limits, and reselling raw access in ways that violate upstream model licenses. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, in severe cases without prior notice.
4. Availability
We run the service on own hardware with reasonable care and aim for high availability, but the service is provided "as is" without a contractual uptime guarantee. Planned maintenance is announced [ on the status page / by e-mail ] where feasible.
5. Fees & billing
Usage is metered in tokens per your plan and invoiced [ monthly, in EUR, payment terms ]. Prices shown on the plan page govern; we will announce price changes reasonably in advance and you may end the contract before they take effect. [ Add jurisdiction-required details for B2B/B2C invoicing, VAT. ]
6. AI output disclaimer
Model output is generated automatically, can be incorrect, and does not represent our views. You are responsible for reviewing results before using them, especially in safety-, legal- or finance-critical contexts.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for personal injury, and under product liability law. In other cases our liability is limited to foreseeable contract-typical damages, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. [ German law specifics: keep this paragraph aligned with your AGB review. ]
8. Changes & termination
We may amend these terms with reasonable notice; material changes take effect only if you do not object within [ 30 days ] — you can then terminate the account free of charge. You may terminate your account at any time via support.
9. Final provisions
Governing law: Germany, to the extent permitted. Place of jurisdiction for merchants: [ city ]. If provisions of these terms are invalid, the validity of the rest is unaffected; statutory consumer rights remain untouched.
