This service (the "gateway", hosted at european-inference.de and slop.european-inference.de) is operated by the above provider on own hardware located in [ Berlin, Germany / EU (We don't actually have hardware yet) ] ("Controller").

2. What we do with your data

Your prompts and answers are never stored. Requests forwarded to the inference endpoint are processed in memory and not written to disk, not logged, and not used to train models — by us or by anyone else. We record only token counts per request (numeric metering) for billing purposes.

We process the following personal data, by category:

3. What we explicitly do NOT do

4. Third parties

Social sign-in: if you sign in via GitHub, Google or Discord, we receive their OAuth handshake for your account: a stable user id, display name and your verified e-mail address. We process that data only to create and recognise your account.
E-mail delivery: transactional e-mails (confirmation, password reset, ticket receipts) are sent via [ provider, e.g. INWX ].
Notifications: internal operational alerts are delivered via our own self-hosted ntfy instance; they may contain ticket subjects you submit — we treat them as support data per section 2.

5. Transfers outside the EU

All first-party processing happens on hardware in the EU. Social sign-in is voluntary; GitHub/Google/Discord are US-based companies; when you use them, their own privacy policies apply to that handshake. You can always create an account with e-mail + password instead — no third party involved.

6. Security

TLS (Let's Encrypt) on every connection, API keys stored as SHA-256 hashes and revocable with one click, passwords as scrypt hashes, accounts gated by verified e-mail and operator approval.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15-21 GDPR), and a right to complain to a supervisory authority ([ competent authority for your address ]). E-mail us — deletions of your account also remove usage metadata and ticket history, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16.
